La literatura es el vehículo por el cual el pensamiento trasciende el tiempo y el espacio. A través de las rutas comerciales y las migraciones, las historias han viajado de boca en boca antes de ser plasmadas en papel, fusionando mitos, filosofías y formas de narrar que hoy constituyen la biblioteca universal de la humanidad.
Literature is the vehicle through which thought transcends time and space. Through trade routes and migrations, stories have traveled by word of mouth before being set on paper, merging myths, philosophies, and ways of narrating that today constitute the universal library of humanity.
1. LA TRADICIÓN ORAL Y EL ORIGEN DE LA NARRATIVA

Antes de la escritura, la literatura era un acto vivo. En la India y el mundo Árabe, los relatos se transmitían a través de grandes epopeyas y cuentos que servían no solo para entretener, sino para educar y preservar la identidad.
Before writing, literature was a living act. In India and the Arab world, stories were transmitted through great epics and tales that served not only to entertain but to educate and preserve identity.

El pueblo judío, a través de su diáspora, llevó consigo la literatura sagrada y la exégesis (interpretación). Su enfoque en el análisis del texto y la preservación de la memoria histórica influyó profundamente en el pensamiento humanista europeo y en la importancia del libro como objeto de conocimiento.
The Jewish people, through their diaspora, carried with them sacred literature and exegesis (interpretation). Their focus on text analysis and the preservation of historical memory deeply influenced European humanist thought and the importance of the book as an object of knowledge.

Con la expansión europea y las migraciones hacia las Américas, nació un nuevo género: la crónica. Este estilo fusionó la visión occidental con las realidades indígenas y africanas, dando origen a una literatura mestiza que hoy define nuestra identidad regional.
With European expansion and migrations toward the Americas, a new genre was born: the chronicle. This style merged the Western vision with Indigenous and African realities, giving rise to a mestizo literature that today defines our regional identity.

Contemporary literature is the result of this incessant crossing. An author today can write in one language, think in another, and feel under the influence of myths from a distant continent, proving that the written word is the final archive of our human brotherhood.
