El Martirio de Valentín / The Martyrdom of Valentine
Español: En el siglo III, el emperador Claudio II prohibió los matrimonios para los jóvenes, creyendo que los solteros eran mejores soldados. El sacerdote Valentín desafió este decreto celebrando uniones en secreto, defendiendo el derecho natural al amor y la familia. Fue ejecutado el 14 de febrero del año 270 d.C.
English: In the 3rd century, Emperor Claudius II banned marriages for young men, believing that single men made better soldiers. Priest Valentine defied this decree by celebrating unions in secret, defending the natural right to love and family. He was executed on February 14, 270 AD.
